It seems that proxemail never transfers authentication. If I set my mail client to no authentication, I receive an error that I am not authorized. I tried normal AUTH and pop before and still receive the same error. (My client is usually set to AUTH - smtp using username and password.) Is the authentcation never getting processed through? THis only happens when I set the smtp domain to a specific IP. Using 127.0.0.1 it works fine - but so many mail servers block anything with 127.0.0.1 in the headers so that is not desired.
I can telnet in and that works fine - that is what is so confusing.
Server is a Cpanel server running Exim 4.x under RedHat.
