I am having troube getting the software to register the person who wants to register. It says that it cannot register the user, and to try again another time.

With the scripts, do we have to install the PHP AND the PHP&Mysql files or just one of the four folders that came with the program?

Thanks,
J

Either the PHP or PHP MySQL, depends on if you are using MySQL or not. Also, make sure your daemon is running.

What are some example inputs for:

Instant Messenger Server Address?
Instant Messenger Server Port?

I am having a problem with this... is this to the daemon? where is the absolute path?

The server address, is the address to the webserver where the daemon is located, the port is the port you decided to run the daemon on.

Absolute path is the hard drive path to the directory. Your host should have details on your specific path.

I asked the host and he said he was new to the whole daemon thing. He did not know what url to point it to, whether it be absolute or http equivelent... Do you have a sample url?

like:

http://www.something.com/
/usr/bin/java

Which one should I use for the configuration?

It is just the domain name.

The other path you just shown would seem to be your path to java.

C:\Program Files\WWIM3 Creator\servers

Please read the readme file that comes with the WWIM, it explains the entire installation.

If you would prefer a professional installation, please refer to our installer here:

The only trouble right now is where to install the server folder... I don't know if I give the file to the host and they install it or what... I just asked the host so...

Any folder that is not web accessible (i.e. through a browser), is fine.
