In the File Manager section of the admin control panel I cannot create a new directory eg .... 'classads' .... Right? So what is the best path to 'drill-down' to so I can create this directory? By the way, I'm trying to install WWClassified 4.5 on this server. I've tried every way imaginable to get this script to install. Except the correct way obviously. When I try to bring it up in my browser I get the good 'ol HTTP 404 - File not found error.

In the Web Server Configuration area under 'DocumentRoot' it says /var/www/html . Is this the path to place my new 'classads' directory?

I have read the ENTIRE online help at least 5 times and I'm at the "bash my head against the keyboard, and monitor" stage :uhoh: . I am new at this so please be gentle. Thank You.

You should use a FTP client, not the web file admin.

I am using an FTP. I got it figured out. It worked when I transfered ONLY the contents of the last folder (4.5) in the unzipped contents. The ReadMe file said to install all folders and subfolders which did not work. Maybe this will help anyone else with the same problem. :)
