Yes,
I am having difficulty installing the component mambo mail from the administration menu in mambo. I do have the rssgallery feature installed. Any advice?
What problem are you having? Is there an error message?

There is no error message from the screen at all. . .it goes to a blank screen. . .under the mambo menu after trying to install under the component menu. . .and just stalls. . .I can list the other components I have installed in case something is incompatible. . .but it just doesn't install at all. ?
It could be your server cannot handle such a large component on an upload. Here is a way you can do it without uploading the zip through the component control panel.
Unzip the component on your PC and then create an empty directory on your server that Mambo will be able to access. For example, I will call this directory "mamboinst".
Open that folder with your FTP client and upload all of the files AND folders you unzipped to the mamboinst directory.
In the mambo component install page, there is a second formbox that says "Install from directory" You have to enter the path to the mamboinst directory there, for example:
/home/yoursite/html/mamboinst
And it will install from there.
Let me know if this helps.
